The weather had played havoc with the arrangements over a longish period of time. But Brad was always very... read more honest in terms of weather when we called him prior to travelling - it’s him genuinely wanting us to have the best experiencerather than just trying to get up even when it wasn’t that good. He wants his guests to have “nourishment, not punishment” which he definitely realised on our 2 flights.

Finally on attempt 6 we got a break and took to the skies, with him pointing out the sights of Bath from the air, and the local homes of the great and the good and of dignitaries with complementary tales of the rock stars of the area. I fully recommend the trip.

There is a certain air of trepidation getting into what looks like a fibre glass bucket hanging under a hang glider with a propeller attached - but it’s a truly wonderful adrenaline rush. Take off is steepand landing is fast and a little bumpy but in between was 30 minutes of fantastic scenery and engaging conversation.

Go for it. It is certainly an amazing experience.and Brad is an animated and knowledgable host who allays any concerns you might have.

Opting for a powered Hand glider overhang gliding turned out to be a brilliant choice for this stage in my life. From the moment I met Brad, I knew I was in good hands.   waste of time and money - Got a voucher for my 30th birthday back in march 2020 ...... And for the last 3 years I have been trying to go on a 30 minute solo flight... read more . It has been cancelled by them no less than 9 times ( 2 from COVID and lockdowns and 7 for band weather apparently and that was when I was at the gate ) .

They didn't inform me that the voucher is going to expire so when I tried and rebooked for the 10th time, they I formed me that the voucher is gone and there will be no refund and only offering a worthless 10% off if I rebook again......

  I bought my Grandson a Microlite experience as a present and treated myself to one as well. Our first visit was rained out of the skies by heavy showers half... read more way through, but Brad wanted us to experience microlighting properly and so invited us back a second time at no extra expense. The second time was brilliant with great pre-flight briefings and in-flight instruction. His enthusiasm and experience provided great confidence, even allowing us to pilot so much of the flight under his instruction. Back on the ground we chatted 'aviation' over the coffee provided for much of the afternoon. What we bought were two 20 min flights - what he delivered was a brilliant afternoon. Nothing is left to chance on the safety front and instructions were always very clear. We flew over some fantastic scenery (Bath and Cheddar Gorge) and the hour just sped by. In flight Brad explained everything I needed to know to get the most out of the experience. It was a bonus to be able to take the controls but if you don't want to do that you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. One of the best experiences I've ever had that left me buzzing!
